Post-Operative Preparation / Advice After Treatment
Use of Eye Drops
Instill the prescribed eye drops into the operated eyes immediately after the procedure. Always wash your hands with soap before applying the drops.
Discomfort After Surgery
Mild pain, watering, a foreign body sensation, and blurred vision are common for the first 6 hours. A pain-relieving tablet may be taken as prescribed.
Protective Measures
Wear sunglasses for a few days after surgery to protect against dust and glare, especially while driving or riding. They are not required indoors.
Daily Activities
You may resume work from the very next day.
Bathing and washing the face with soap and water are permitted, but avoid splashing water directly into the eyes.
Avoid swimming and eye makeup for at least 15 days.
Watching movies, cooking, computer use, and routine activities can be resumed normally.
Diet
There are no food restrictions — you may eat as you wish.
